St. Marguerite d'Youville Catholic Church
St. Marguerite d'Youville is a Roman Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of Toronto in the north-east of Brampton. Catholics confess the Nicene Creed, receive the seven sacraments, and hold that the bread and wine of the Mass become the body and blood of Christ. Its mission statement looks to its patron's belief in 'the guidance and loving involvement of God' in her life and calls parishioners, in the same spirit, 'to foster a community of welcome and service'.
St. Marguerite d’Youville is on Sandalwood Parkway East in the north-east of the city. The archdiocese gives its parish boundaries as Old School Road to the north, Airport Road to the east, Williams Parkway, Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive East to the south, and Highway 410 and Heart Lake Road to the west.
The Saturday vigil Mass is at 5:00 p.m., and Sunday Masses are at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with a Sunday-evening Mass at 8:00. Weekday Mass is at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. On the first Friday of each month the church keeps a day of Eucharistic adoration, from the morning Mass until 7:00 p.m., when it closes with Mass.
