Kennedy Road Church
Kennedy Road Church belongs to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Its core beliefs confess one eternal God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and salvation offered by grace as a free gift to all who follow Christ by faith, so that salvation is found in Christ alone. It accepts the PAOC's Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths, which it presents as its full statement of faith, and gives its mission as helping people far from God become 'fully devoted followers of Christ'.
Kennedy Road Church worships at 141 Kennedy Road North. Its legal name is Kennedy Road Tabernacle Ministries and it still uses the initials KRT. It is a congregation of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and its lead pastors are Brian and Kim Comeaux.
Two services are held each Sunday at the Kennedy Road campus, at 9:00 a.m. and at noon, and the church also holds Church Online on Sundays. A second campus meets at Brampton Christian School in Caledon, outside the city, with its own service at 10:30 a.m.
The church’s annual report also covers Brampton Christian School, the Kiddies Kollege daycare and The Heritage, an apartment building for independent seniors beside the church.
What to expect
Kennedy Road Kids, a children's church for ages 18 months to Grade 5, runs during both Sunday services at the Kennedy Road campus, with Bible lessons, worship, prayer and games. The church encourages families to come to the same service each week so that children can get to know their leaders. Baptisms are held on the last Sunday of each month.
